I've been out of action for a couple of months. I've updated to the latest version of the Powerpac and I find that my flv videos no longer play. However if I convert them to mp4 there's no problem. Perhaps I've missed something?

FLV is still supported. However, it seems you must play FLV files from a web server.

Please update your PowerPac version to v12.864.3 to fix an FLV extension reference error.
