Software keeps asking me to register

The Almena program should never ask for registration information more than once. If it does, it indicates that the registration information is not being written to the hard disk in your computer. The most common reason for this is because 3rd party security software is blocking, or interfering with the registration process.

Other reasons why this could happen?
  • Cookies, which are small data files created by web browsers, are not being allowed to exist on your computer. Cookie files are written during registration and are used to validate successful registration with our web server before allowing the data to be written to your hard disk.
  • Security (or anti-virus) software may be blocking the writing of cookies.
  • Security (or anti-virus) software may be preventing your computer from sending the registration information to our web servers.
Possible solutions:
  1. Open the Internet Explorer web browser and click on Tools > Internet options > Privacy tab > Advanced button
    Verify that your settings match those displayed below. If they do not match, then change them until they do.

  2. VERY IMPORTANT!
    If the previous step does not resolve the problem, try disabling your anti-virus software during the registration process and re-enable it when finished.
      We recommend this procedure ...
      1) Disable the anti-virus software
      2) Run the Almena Method and register using your key
      3) At the login screen, exit the program to the desktop.
      4) Perform steps 2 and 3 at least twice (although your registration key will only be asked for ONCE)
      5) Re-enable the anti-virus software
      6) Run the Almena Method and the login screen should appear. You can now log in and take the Almena Method course.
      You should NEVER be asked to register the software again.
If you get an error or alert message that says the maximum number of registrations has been exceeded, please contact us to have your key reset. This will allow you to try and register again. Contact us at [email protected] and please provide your license key and name in order to authenticate your request.
